Kid Cudi Mistaken for a Burglary Suspect????

According to a new repot, sources close to Atlantic Records have confirmed that T.I. has been released from prison, when we previously reported he had at least three more months to serve at the Arkansas Forrest City prison. BET is reporting that Atlantic Records says that TIP was released from the facility and is currently in route to Atlanta to serve the rest of his time in a half way house.
As we previously reported, TIP's lawyer, Steve Sadow, said T.I.'s projected release date was in "approximately the fourth week of March 2010." This date takes into account his 366-day sentence, minus 54 days for good behavior and 14 days "that he had in custody prior to sentencing." When asked about a half way house, Shadow said "it is up to the [Federal] Bureau of Prisons to decide whether someone should be placed in a halfway house prior to the projected release date."

Brittany Murphy Dies
Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.
She was 32.
A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.
We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Her time of death was listed as 10:04 AM.
Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word." Murphy was reportedly fired from last film, "The Caller," after reports she was problematic on set.
UPDATE 3:11 PM ET -- Sources tell TMZ Brittany Murphy's mom discovered her unconscious in the shower. We're told when paramedics arrived, they quickly determined Murphy was in full cardiac arrest and immediately administered CPR. They continued CPR in route to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center -- several miles away -- and Murphy was unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
We're told the LA County Coroner's is picking up Murphy's body from Cedars later today and will launch a death investigation.
UPDATE 4:00 PM ET -- We're also told the LAPD has launched a death investigation.
UPDATE 4:07 PM ET -- A rep for Murphy tells TMZ, "In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy."
UPDATE 5:21 PM ET -- Two LAPD officers were just spotted going into Murphy's home.
UPDATE 5:34 PM ET -- A neighbor of Brittany's tells TMZ she saw Brittany getting taken out on a stretcher with paramedics performing CPR. The neighbor said Brittany "looked dead."
My prayers go out to Brittany Murphy's family.

Disney's "Princess and the Frog" #1 at the Box Office
Congrats to Anika Noni Rose, Oprah, Terrence Howard, Jennifer Lewis, and the rest of the cast of The Princess & The Frog. The movie starring Disney's first black princess pulled in $25 million at the box office. Do I smell OSCAR!!!
I think this is pretty dope. Finally we're getting to see how great diversity on the big screen is. It's been a slow process, but times are changing.

MechanicalDummy AKA Chris Brown Deletes His Twitter Account
After his earlier public display of frustration over what he described as the,"black balling" of his new album "Graffitti," Chris Brown has deleted his "Mechanical Dummy" Twitter account.Apparently, upon visiting a Connecticut Walmart, Chris noticed that there were no "Graffitti" albums stocked on the shelves. A representative of the store stated that there were no cds because they had been sold out.

Our Prayers for Tyler Perry
Willie Maxine Perry, Tyler's mom and inspiration for Madea, died Tuesday at the age of 64. Madea, Tyler Perry's most popular character in his plays and movies is, ".. a cross between my mother and my aunt - she's the type of grandmother that was on every corner when I was growing up."
Though he's gotten harsh criticism from the Black community over some of his work and characters, Tyler has said that Madea is a celebration of strong black women inclusive of his mother.
Willie Perry was a nursery school assistant for 10 years at the Jewish Community Center in New Orleans.
My prayers definitely go out to Tyler and his family.
