My big Hommie Proof will be honored at a an annual candlelight vigil on Monday (April 11) at 4 pm at the Rosa Parks Freedom Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery (Detroit).
The event is put on by the Proof Foundation which promotes academic excellence and awards scholarships to high school seniors.
The foundation is taking applications for its first $1000 scholarship. Applications MUST be postmarked by May 30, 2011. For more info email prooffoundation@gmail.com.
Proof is gone but never forgotten. I hope to see you all come out and support the event.
