Not only will Nicki Minaj‘s debut album Pink Friday debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 this week, the Queen of Young Money rapper has officially broken the record for second highest first-week sales by a female MC in Billboard’s history, moving 375,190 units.
The number one spot belongs to Lauryn Hill who’s opening week sales for her solo debut The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, sold 423,000 copies. Nicki dethroned Missy Elliott who’s 2002 album Under Construction sold 259,000 copies it’s first week.
