R.I.P - Troy Davis Executed

Troy Davis was unsuccessful in proving his innocence of killing an off duty police officer and was executed yesterday at a Georgia Prison. More than 500 family, friends, and supporters stood outside in support of Davis. Some even cried when they heard the Supreme Court denied a last minute plea. According to www.cbsnews.com , Davis was upbeat, and prayerful. Before his death, Davis raised his head to say "I am innocent. All I can ask ... is that you look deeper into this case so that you really can finally see the truth. I ask my family and friends to continue to fight this fight."
