Chris Brown Vs. Good Morning America
Chris has been rumored to have had destroyed his dressing room (inclusive of a glass) after his interview with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts. I don't know, I watched the interview, and anybody with a brain could see that he tried to get around the Rihanna / Chris situation. I'm not saying destroying a dressing room is right, but leave the man alone. Watch the video for yourself, and let me know what you think.

Video: Odd Future Hates Everyone….
As the ring leader and outspoken frontman of the west coast group Odd Future, who has literally burst onto the scene out of nowhere, Tyler, the Creator has recently given some fairly straight forward words directed at Mr. West. The young Cali kid feels that Kanye is his only competition because he is the only other hip-hop artist that can rap, produce, and direct music videos. It will definitely be interesting to see if Ye pays any attention to this, seeing as he already gave Tyler his co-sign. Don’t wake the bear, lil homie.
Any Thoughts?

A Look Inside Lupe Fiasco’s “Lasers”
"This remote, public, and, as it were, principled, bondage is the indispensable justification of their own: when the prisoner is free, the jailer faces the void of himself."
—James Baldwin, The Devil Finds Work
Speaking last Tuesday at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg, on the night of his fifth solo release, Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang, legendary artist Raekwon listed a few pillars under which “real Hip-Hop” must fall—wittiness, slang, real-life value, lyrical worth, and a non-commercial edge. In case the concert audience had slumbered through the last item, he repeated with emphasis: “It’s got to be non-commercial!” On the same day, another prominent artist was living the reality of a music industry whose iron fist often tightens around the necks of those who refuse to submit and do as told. Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers dropped, following a tumultuous three-year delay no one saw coming.

Diddy Tops Forbes’ Hip Hop List
Upon yesterday’s release of Forbes top five grossing hip-hop artists, some might be a bit shocked as to see the moderate shift in power. While still largely separated from the remainder of the pack, Diddy has overstepped hip-hop royalty, Hov, in taking the number one spot. Of course, Jigga is not at all far behind, but it may come as a slight surprise that he has been overtaken. Guess it’s time to crank out another number one and hit the road, huh Jay?
