A wild scene at a music awards ceremony near Washington, D.C. -- a huge fight broke out, forcing the cancellation of the rest of the ceremony. And it was all captured on video.
Some 1,500 people turned out for the DMV Music Awards (DMV is slang for D.C.-Maryland-Virginia) at a hotel in Arlington Saturday night. It is designed to honor the best of the area's emerging hip-hop scene.
About halfway through after just a handful of awards were handed out, a fight broke out between two groups, according to The Washington Post. Up to 60 people were involved, throwing chairs, smashing glasses and punching each other. Five people were injured, and the remainder of the ceremony was abandoned.
